Outside Bars
We supply a fully mobile bar service, which we can put almost anywhere. We regularly run events at Shrivenham Memorial Hall. We have also run mobile bars at main local venues such as Bishopstone and Wanborough village halls, Roves Farm and visitor centre, as well as private dwellings. We have also furnished bars to the Old Berkshire Hunt Point to Point.
Drinks
For mobile bars we will normally supply; one lager (Carling), one cider (Strongbow), one keg of beer or Guinness on draught; a range of spirits, 'flavoured alcoholic beverages' soft drinks/mixers and house wines. Should you require other items place ask and we will attempt to fulfill your requirements.
Welcome Drinks
We can distribute welcome drinks of jugs of Pimm's (£12.00 per 2 litre jug), or Bucks Fizz (£20.00 per bottle of champagne, £1.00 per litre Orange juice). The cost of these drinks will be added to the bar take (not the sum in the table below) for the purposes of calculating if it is necessary to pay a fee.
Real Ales
We can supply real ales. However, if it is not possible to set up the cask 24 hours in advance and to leave it in place undisturbed, we will have to serve bright beer. There will be no significant difference in taste between bright beer and that conditions in the cellar.
The choice of bright beers however, is limited to a beer from the Arkell's Brewery. If any of these remain unsold we will charge you for any remaining at the end of the event. This sum will, however, be deducted from our costs detailed below.

There will only be a charge for our outside bar service if we are going to lose money by servicing your event.
For example; you require a bar from 4pm to 12am (8 hours) to which you have invited 140 people. The price on the table is £770. If the bar takes £800 including the cost of welcome and table drinks there will be no charge to you. However if the bar takes £750 we will charge you £20 so that we do not lose money. I am quite happy for you to be present with my staff for counting the till at the end of the event. Please note that the table values are only valid for events before the 1st of September 2006 without prior arrangement.
Licencing
You are warned that there is an infringement of the licensing law if other people supply alcohol at an event, where we have obtained an Occasional License (Temporary Event Notice) to supply alcohol on those premesis.
